Link preview in messengers

When you send a link in Telegram, WhatsApp or VK, a card appears below it — title, description and image. FunnelLink lets you set your own preview for the short link, even when you can't change it on the destination site. A good-looking card builds trust and gets more clicks.

How to set up the card

When creating or editing a link, open the «Messenger card» section and set the title, description and cover image address. Next to it is a live «as in Telegram» preview that updates as you type. Save the link — and the preview applies for everyone you send it to.

Preview didn't update right away?

Telegram caches link cards. If you already sent the link and then changed the title or the cover, chats will keep showing the old card for a while. To clear the cache immediately, send your short link to the bot @WebpageBot — it refreshes the preview and the new card shows up in every chat.

Cover image tips

A horizontal image around 1200×630 pixels looks best. Use the direct address of the image (ending in .jpg or .png) and make sure it's reachable over the internet.
